MotoRZR2 V8
This next generation RAZR is really something to behold. Not only does it still have the cool, sexy and distinct lines of the RAZR family, but it is also a whole lot slimmer this time - only 11.9mm. It is definitely one of the sexiest phones around and sports the familiar Motorola glam look. The RAZR2 V8 has a stainless steel frame, for strength, a vacuum metal housing with chemically hardened glass and accents of spun metal and chrome to make it hot, hot, hot!

The phone is tailored to the person looking for a richer multimedia and music experience. You have 2GB memory and with USB2.0 you can be sure to have fast and high-speed file transfers. The RAZR2 V8 comes with Windows Media Player 11 and synchronisation to make managing your music and multimedia very easy. Even better is the cool music touch-screen interface on the outside screen, for when the phone is closed and you want to pause, play, or skip songs. Now this is funky by all standards. The external display is a nice and large 2.0" QVGA, with 320x240 resolution sporting 262K colours. The internal display is slightly larger at 2.2".

Even more cool is the fact that you can also read and respond quickly to text messages using the quick templates (like: "I will be there in 5", or "Running late") through the external display all without opening the phone. It's cool, but a bit limited.

With the 2-megapixel camera supporting stills and video capture and playback (MPEG 4 format), you can have a real "jol" staying connected with friends and family through visuals. The camera has 8 x zoom and is of rather good quality, much better than I had expected and good enough for all intended purposes.

Apart from integrated Bluetooth wireless technology with imaging, printing and peer to peer gaming profiles, it also comes with MotoSync for over the air synchronisation of e-mail, Phonebook and Calendar so you can manage all your "dates" without any problems.
